Lovely place to spend time in all seasons. there's a great park that our kids spend hours in, boats for hire, picnic areas and a new Swiss Tea Room with a great menu. There is often live brass music on the traditional bandstand in summer months.

Belper River Gardens The beautiful riverside gardens are set in a tranquil setting by the mill weir. Pedalos and Rowing boats can be hired in the summer for a three mile trip up river. During the summer months there are concerts in the bandstand, outdoor theatre and other events. Cafe complex opening July 2021. Open all year.

A great place for sight seeing but you can also hire small boats on the river and stop at the cafe.
