Views galore. Look over the whole of Ashford and right across to coast. The crown has a huge chalk carving of the Queens crown. One of my favourite places to walk :)

It is worth the drive up to the Wye Downs, where you can park your car, admire the stunning views, take a picnic and walk for miles. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Whether it's a simple walk up the The Wye Crown or a more adventurous trek along the North Downs and Pilgrims Way from Wye to Chilham, where you can end your walk with a pub lunch and get the train home! Both highly recommended. The Wye Downs Natural Reserve is at the top off Scotton St, passing through Wye and up to the top of the hill. There's a free car park.
