It connects the Atlantic with the Mediterranean. Narrow boats travel up and down used for holidays. It's a great place to walk as far as you want. It is in between Vias town and Vias beach. Wild life, mostly birds, to see.

The Canal Du Midi was build by Paul Riquet, who was born in Beziers. It runs from Toulouse to Sete and dates from the 1600's. It is a Unesco world heritage site.

Famous Canal du Midi has stunning views, great walkways and bike paths as well as super restaurants along the way. it is possible to rent a boat to go along the canal for an authentic day trip
