Eagle Rock is located in Topanga State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains, and it is a unique formation that provides an amazing panoramic view of Santa Monica. On a clear day, the Catalina Islands and Palos Verdes Peninsula are visible. You can park on along the street of Entrada Rd. or pay $10 to pay for parking inside Trippet Ranch (worth it to support the park and the amenities it provides). This hike offers great panoramic views and the trail is well-maintained and perfect for group hikes.

Park in the park service lot for $10 or take your chances on the side of Entrada off Topanga Canyon Blvd. The trail is well marked. Expect to see grazing mule deer along the trail. The view from the top of Eagle Rock are spectacular. Afterwards cross Topanga Canyon Blvd to Abuelita's for lunch or dinner.
