Rattle snake lodge is a close cool harder hike. Great for a stroll through the woods close to home. Right off the parkway

3.8 mile hike off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Gorgeous forest and views.

This trail is accessible right on Ox Creek Rd. Turn left out of farm ,and there are numerous side parking areas at top of Mountain. There are no signs but trails all lead there,and are accessible when Parkway is Closed.
