Natural beauty in abundance. Local history and legendary tale involving a dog and the devil. Be careful going down Jacobs ladder. Meals available from the Hafod Hotel. Make the experience extra special by taking the Rheidol Steam train from Aberystwyth (extra scary at Halloween)

Today, the Falls Nature Trail provides a unique opportunity to see this great natural feature in the Rheidol Gorge. Do look up the legend of how the bridge got its name! You do need to pay a fee to walk the trails. The Nature Trail, Waterfalls and 3 Bridges takes about 45 minutes and involves 675 steps. The Punchbowl and 3 Bridges trail takes about 20 minutes and involves 220 steps. Food and drink are available from the Hafod Hotel opposite the exit to the waterfalls walk.
