The beach of Athera village is sandy and is located in the center of a small, narrow bay, which preserves and maintains the waters calmly.The waters are shallow and blue and ideal for swimming and young children. Opposite a small island, Atheronisi completes the landscape. when you drive to this beach and getting down the mountain, once you see the place is like seeing a big hug. Such a picturesque little gulf, with warm waters. It's a pleasure to bathe there and have a bite at the restaurants nearby.

There are two excellent restaurants right on Atheras beach. You can eat there after swimming in the bay.
