Following the success of their Harvard Square restaurant, this unicorn ramen chain (with fewer than ten shops in the world) opened up a second restaurant in Back Bay, next to the famous shopping street, Newbury St. Plain Shio ramen is the best. Take Green C Line to Hynes Convention Center.

Santouka has the best ramen I've had anywhere in the country! It's a tiny little spot, which means you might have a long wait, but I promise it's worth it.

We have been all over Japan and this ramen is as good as what we had in Sapporo, Hokkaido! Long lines of people are expected, and there is usually a 15 minutes wait, but it's worth it for the authentic Japanese experience. Go for a late lunch when the lines are shorter.
