Beautiful quintessential hiking location for when your time in Los Angeles and the area is limited. It's a moderate day hike that has some great views, and is very friendly to hikers.

It's a beautiful, and nearby hiking trail. Not steep, just beautiful...running water...Pick up the parking pass right before you need to turn in making your right.

If you are up for a short drive, Switzer Falls is about 25 minutes away, up the Angeles Crest Highway. It's a beatiful and pretty easy trail, fully shaded by huge oak trees and with running water year round.
