The cemetery at St Stephen's is one of the quietest and most peaceful spots in Newtown and Camperdown. Hardly anyone goes in and it is a lovely place to sit and contemplate under the trees. The graves are of people like Sir Thomas Mitchell and 19th century mariners.
Work began in 1884, the church boasts an old cemetery and gorgeous trees on its surrounding grounds.
One of the oldest graveyard in Sydney, with an old and majestic tree, not to be missed.
