This good value table d'hote set on an old sugar plantation, 10 minutes' drive from Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, offers a prix fixe Creole menu and à la carte grills to a mix of tourists and locals. What's unusual is its collection of vintage cars including an Austin 16, Churchill's car, and a Wolseley 'police car' scattered among the fruits and spices used in its dishes.
