This volcano erupted 10,000 years ago and you can conquer it today by climbing it and checking out it's two craters to get a panoramic view of Mangere Bridge and greater Auckland!

Mangere Mountain in Mangere Domain is one of the largest volcanic cones in the Auckland volcanic field, with a peak 106 metres above sea level.

The views are amazing from the top of this volcano. Great place to get in some exercise or let the kids burn off some energy (park and skate park here too).

It's a great place to do a mini mountain climb! Beautiful Lookout at the top.
