A hidden treasure - we'd lived here two years before anyone told me there was a little restaurant/cafe in this local gift shop. Go in, and through the shop, and the cafe is inside, partly open and worth the trip. Closed on Tuesdays, but every other day, this is one of the best places for lunch in the area. They make their own crumpets, which are exceptional and the menu is light, clever and modern. The pea and mint fritters are a current favourite!
