The East End Historic District is comprised of over 50 city blocks bounded on the south by Broadway, the east by 10th Street, the north by Mechanic Avenue and the west by 19th Street. The District has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and has been designated a National Historic Landmark.

Beautiful, Historical Victorian homes. Look for the Sculpture Trees sprinkled throughout the neighborhood as well as Historical plaques on many of the homes that indicate 1900 Storm Survivor, Registered Historical Building and so on

If you’re a lover of Victorian architecture, then taking a stroll around the East End Historic District will be an amazing experience. We personally love driving around and looking at the amazing properties, with all the details and reading up on the history. Galveston has it all.
