Kung Jeon Korean Palace Restaurant - the Best Korean Restaurant in Baguio 38 South Drive, Baguio (63) 74-446-7557 ANNYEONG! Turning Korean? Try Samgyupsal Gui (Grilled Pork Belly) with Lettuce and Perilla wraps - they are a must! Cooking, or rather BBQing Korean pork belly is quite straight forward. Simply grill the meat until both sides of the meat are done, wrap them with fresh lettuce, and dip in spicy dipping sauce. As the meat is ‘bland’ on its own, you rely on the dipping sauce (Gochujang or Hot Pepper Paste with sesame oil and honey) or other BBQ companion side dishes to add extra flavor to some degree. The staff are very welcoming. Dishes are appetizing, flavorful and satisfying. Selection of soup, side dishes, kimchi, salads, baby potatoes, tofu, sushi, rice. Korean BBQs has 2 choices of marinated beef, chicken and pork. Korean ice cream for dessert. JUST A TIP: Go before 6:00 PM as the "Palace" may be crowded, even before 7:00 PM.
