Local prize winning winery. A visitor says: "While visiting the Trinity Alps this is a great place to stop. Although this is 10 miles off Highway 3, it is worth a visit. The owners make all of their wines with grapes they grow in their vineyard, or from other vineyards in Trinity County. The tasting room is quite casual as it is outdoors on picnic tables, but the view is fabulous. For remote northern California this is a perfect setting!"

Alpen Cellars is a family owned winery and has delicious whites and reds. You can taste your wine in a beautiful setting surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and a meadow. Bring a picnic and enjoy yourself. The family is wonderful and will share the history of their winery and how Trinity grapes differ from coastal.
