Old West End neighborhood. Twenty-five city blocks making up one of the largest collections of late Victorian houses left standing in the United States. Frank Lloyd Wright studied in this area when planning his Oak Park Project in Illinois. Besides looking at all the beautiful old mansions, Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church is also located in this neighborhood. The cathedral is the mother church of the 122 parishes in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo. (FYI: Visit Old West End and The Rosary Cathedral during daytime hours)... or possibly attend mass so you may be able to enter the building to see the beauty of the inside.

If you want to see the old Victorian style homes the Old West End of Toledo is a great area of town to drive through. The best area to visit is right buy the Toledo Art & Glass Museum.
