Alum Bay Glass started in 1972 in Freshwater,I.O.W Under the name Island Glass. It was started by the previous owners Michael and Lin Rayner. Included in their original team were Robert Adams and Steven Meakin. These two glass makers still remain at Alum Bay Glass today. It was renamed Alum Bay Glass when it moved to a purpose built studio at the needles in 1983 Address: Alum Bay New Rd, Totland Bay PO39 0JD
