St Patrick's Estate is a Manly landmark located south-east of Manly. Established as the first National Catholic Seminary in Australia in 1889, St Patrick’s College and Archbishop’s Residence are legacies of a unique time in the growth and development of the Catholic Church in Australia. On the road up to North Head, you can walk through the Estate and down to Shelley Beach for lunch or a swim.

You may recognise St Patrick’s Estate from the movie The Great Gatsby or from when Nicole Kidman married Tom Cruise! St Patrick’s Estate is a site of exceptional historical and cultural significance – a Manly landmark Established as the first National Catholic Seminary in Australia in 1889, St Patrick’s College and Archbishop’s Residence are legacies of a unique time in the growth and development of the Catholic Church in Australia. The former College is now occupied by the International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS). The pathway and the Estate is now open to the public (during daylight hours). You could combine this on your walk up at North Head.
