The Historical Society is in the E.N. Jenckes Store and Museum. The store, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, serves as a museum and provides a living time capsule for the rich history of not only Douglas, but the Blackstone Valley and a national example of rural life in America. The E.N. Jenckes Store Museum for purposes of depicting a general store and life in rural community during the 19th century.
