This is a multi-use trail are some great loops you can do on foot, on bike (or scooter) with the Steel Bridge, Hawthorne or Tilikum Crossing bridge which will link you to the Riverfront Park on the west side of the river

Great views of downtown Portland along the Willamette River. All kinds of people, make it a part of your trip, by bike or foot. Easily create a loop by crossing any of the bridges *except Morrison* from east to west side of the river.

The Eastside Esplanade offers a great view of Downtown Portland, if you travel from the Steel Bridge south you can cross the river over the Hawthorne Bridge and walk to Waterfront Park.
