Easy to moderate 3 mile round trip hike...or six miles if you want to include Pyle’s Peak. I call the two-peak combo, CowPy :)

For any guests who are up for some outdoor exercise, the Cowles Mountain trail is a great workout and offers a beautiful view of San Diego when you get to the top. The ocean is clearly visible when there are no clouds. Some parts are steep so this is not recommended for small children.
