Classic covered bridge which is a relic from the Hines Lumber mill. Across the street is the Westfir Lodge, which was the Hines Mill office for many years. Now, instead of crossing the North Fork of the Willamette to a mill, the Office Bridge crosses to the Westfir Portal where the Alpine trail terminates and the North Fork river trail begins. There is also a cute park with bathrooms, picnic areas, kids playground and mini bike pump track.

Just up the road from the Westfir River Cottage. You can time a walk around 6 pm to wave at the passing Amtrak train. Longest covered bridge in Oregon. Wonderfully preserved wooden covered bridge. You are able to drive over it with a car. Also a play area for children with a public restroom.
