I will mention my recommended walks in another section. Here I will say that I have been known to drop into the bar for a drink on the way home from my walk. The building is historic and the bar staff and locals are friendly and welcoming. They certainly contribute to the Hotel's success. The dining room is open for lunch and dinner Wednesdays - Sundays and it has had a great facelift. There is also a lounge. I do recommend it.

After a walk up to Mount Kembla look out, head down to the Mount Kembla Village Hotel for a refreshing beverage and wood fire pizza. This is a family friendly, cosy venue set among the trees. 274 Cordeaux Road, Mt Kembla

Oldest Pub in Wollongong. The food, beer and wine are fantastic. Live Music depending on which night and amazing food deals.
