Many turtles or Honu in Hawaiian call this place home. But please be respectful and do not approach or bother them. They are a protected species and sacred in Hawaiian culture.

You can pretty much count on seeing turtles here, but its almost always crowded with tourists and parking is terrible. Recommend going a little further to Papailoa Beach Road.
