A central figure in the Mission Compound. Originally part of the 'Mission', a product of American Episcopalian evangelization in the area which also brought about St. Theodore's Hospital and St. Mary's School, it retains its walls and base made of cathedral rocks; it's roof which used to be made of pine wood shingles was replaced with galvanized iron after being bombed by tracer bullets during the 2nd World War. It is one of the oldest buildings in Sagada which existed at a time when the town was considered an industrial town ahead of its neighbors including the city of Baguio. This church was meant to be a replica of the church with the same name in Manhattan, New York.

It would be better if travellers not only visit the church for sightseeing or photography purposes, but would also attend the mass service. Every Sunday, mass begins at 8:30 AM for the english version.
