We're Japanese so we know ramen, and most of the ramen shops in SF are inauthentic, especially in our neighborhood. Best are Hinodeya and Marufuku (long lines) in the Japantown area. (Note - most Japantown restaurants suck)

Great ramen place in Japan town - you'll often have to wait to get a table bits it's absolutely worth it.
