also Prasat Nong Hong, another of the areas Ancient Khmer archeological sites. It is much smaller and it is less well maintained than the sites at Phanom Rung, but it is worth a quick look if you are interested in Khmer history or if you are visiting the nearby Lam Nang Rong reservoir.
