The City of Arts and Science is a must see for those visiting Valencia. There is the Oceanographics Centre which has the most amazing sea life and aquarium, well worth visiting. The museum and 3D Cinema are ok, but Oceanographics a must see.
If you are into a day trip to Valencia, this will be definitely a good option. The high speed train will bring you from Alicante to Valencia in about one and a half hour.
They do a dolphin display and it has the largest glass water tunnel in Europe to walk through, directly underneath the massive fish tank, with sharks swimming a few metres from your face!

“ Truly amazing!!! The place is not like any other ZOO i have ever visited. The animals seem happy and in their element. Well taken cared of. There are no cages, they have a lot of space...I truly felt like I was in a safari. Great experience! Not to be missed when in Valencia!!! It is definitely worth the visit!”
