Fassler Hall is a German-inspired beer hall, built in 1947 as the Paragon Printing Building. The two-story International Style brick building, with long, repetitive structure expressed on the exterior, floor-to-ceiling glass façade, and large open interior, is listed as a contributing structure to the historic fabric of the neighborhood. This historic status required strict adherence to design guidelines and approval processes throughout the design and construction process. The restored and renovated 7,400 square foot ground floor houses the restaurant and bar with communal seating and a continuous 70ft long bar. Large doors and windows were incorporated into the west façade to provide a connection to the new 6,400 square foot Beer Garden patio for exterior dining and yard games.
