Despite its intimate nature, this theater has become a hub for Midwestern musical comedy. Originally located in the Radisson Plymouth hotel, the playhouse now resides in the Plymouth Best Western. The theater has made a name for itself through its host of hilarious off-Broadway musicals, including but not limited to the notoriously sidesplitting Church Basement Ladies—a Plymouth Playhouse original that has travelled far and wide since its conception in 2005.
