Our town square was voted one of Iowa's top 9 prettiest town squares in Iowa by the Des Moines Register! From their article, "Pella’s Central Park is surrounded by retail businesses, which include bakeries, clothing stores, novelties, antiques, restaurants, furniture stores, and coffee shops. Each structure in the square provides a distinctive look and feel of Holland. Pella’s town square also offers an Information Center within a small windmill with working blades, The Tulip Toren and amphitheater...but the prettiest sight of this park is during Pella’s annual Tulip Time in May where approximately 36,000 tulip bulbs bloom in the 26 flowerbeds."
