In 2020 Mountview was shortlisted for The Stage Theatre Building of the Year. For over 30 years, Mountview has been an itinerant company, touring its productions to theatres across London at high cost. The new theatre has changed that – for the first time we have full technical capability and a main house auditorium to call our own. The space, along with the Backstage Theatre, our 80-seat studio space, is fully accessible and will present over 28 productions annually as well as hosting work from visiting companies.
