Lakes in the neighborhood are MANY! You have your choice between Bde Maka Ska and Lake Harriet to the West and Lake Nokomis to the East. There is also the smaller charming pond in Powderhorn Park.

Personally I think this is the best lake area in south Minneapolis. It is not a popular as Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun, but that is the best part. There are less crowds and the lake is beautiful to walk around.

Take a walk around the lake and you will see views of downtown Minneapolis and lots of birds and other wildlife.
