In 2018, Sts. Peter and Paul church, school house, convent and rectory in the Marigny were converted into the hip Hotel Peter and Paul. Its bar, The Elysian Bar, lets you take its drinks pretty much anywhere on the hotel grounds: In the bar, in the hotel, or out to the courtyard with beautiful views of the former church’s stained-glass windows.

Very cool to see/visit. Sometimes they do tours. It's a converted church and school. There is a restaurant/bar (Elysian Bar) and an ice cream shop as well (Sundae Best).

New, hip Hotel Bar in the Marigny. Originally an old church and grounds that has been completely renovated with a great fire place, courtyard, and fantastic craft cocktails. Intriguing design & aesthetic! Offers small plates as well and I believe there is an ice cream shop next door connected to hotel!

Beautiful decommissioned church turned into a hotel with a James Beard-nominated restaurant as well as an excellent ice cream parlor.
