This is our favorite hike in the area. Great for swimming in quarry at the midpoint of the trail. Fairly easy hike can be muddy with a lot of rain but safe. Bring a picnic! 2-3 hours round trip depending on how long you linger at the quarry. Don’t jump off the rocks - water is very clear and you can see sharp boulders all around the “cliff” area

This 4.5-mile trail rolls over parts of Pine Log Mountain East and West Loops, 240 acres of Green space. The trail is extreme hiking in some parts and moderate in others on the compacted soil surface. Great 3 to 4 hour hike for family and friends. Directions: Turn left out of our driveway. At the stop sign turn left onto GA 140 east toward Waleska. Cross the RR tracks and cross over GA 411, and continue approximately 3 miles to the Pine Log Creek Trail System parking area on left.
