The Christchurch Town Hall is one of Christchurch's most recognisable pieces of architecture and one of New Zealand’s premier performance venues. Accommodating from 20 to 2,250 guests, there are five key spaces to choose from, including the celebrated Douglas Lilburn Auditorium,the James Hay Theatre and three large event spaces, the Limes Room, the Avon Room and the Victoria room, that transform effortlessly to meet your event’s needs. After a comprehensive rebuild and restoration project, facilities throughout offer improved sound proofing, acoustics and overall ease of use. Fully integrated and modernised technology enhances each space further and includes projectors, screens, sound systems and automated blinds.
