7 miles from cabin to a 1.5 mile out and back to 80ft waterfall! Even though it’s a short hike, it’s a steady climb out, so don’t forget your water bottle. Where good hiking shoes and bring your hiking poles for this adventure if you have them.

Beautiful hike near the Buffalo River ~1.5 miles with cool rock structures and a waterfall at the end (weather permitting) We have only been in the fall. The trees were beautiful but the waterfall was dried up due to lake of rain. We would recommend finding additional details on the AllTrails app. Recent reviews in the app should let you know if there is water or not.

Sweden Creek Falls is a 1.5 mile moderately trafficked trail that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels.

Sweden Creek Falls is only a mile from Heavens Door cabins. Just go out the driveway and turn right on the gravel road and drive a little over a mile. You'll see the parking area, just park and start hiking on the trail. It's a beautiful Hike- it's one mile in and one mile out, not a hard hike, but it's a little steep coming out. There are pretty smaller waterfalls you'll come to first, but keep going, and when the water is flowing, you'll come to the big 81 ft. waterfall! The rock formations there are amazing! Great place to hike to and take a picnic!
