This village is on the road to Volterra also. Highlights of the village is the medieval part of the town called "Colle Alta". Near the center "downtown" there is the "Parco Fluviale della Val d'Elsa" you can find it in Google map. It is a trail along the river Elsa with some nice area with small waterfalls. During the Summer local people are usual to swim in this part of the river. It is about 20 minutes driving from Castellina.

Colle di Val d' Elsa is a town in the province of Siena. This city is the most important italian centre of crystal production and is also famous for having given birth, in 1240, to Arnolfo di Cambio.
