Beautiful spot to walk or ride bikes through, right on the water. It would be a great picnic spot.

The Whalehead Club is a historic hunting lodge in Corolla that sits on a beautiful sound front estate. Open for viewing, you can also roam the grounds and explore. During the summer they have several art shows and outdoor events. The Corolla lighthouse is in the same area so you could hit both in a day. Don’t forget to check out Historic Corolla Village (shopping/strolling) as well

This is a historic landmark in Corolla and a great spot to take your family to watch the sunset. They have free yoga in the mornings, wine tastings for a small price on Wednesday evenings, and free live music with crafts throughout the week. Take a tour if you’re a history buff.
