Beautiful islands. Easy access by boat.

Just half an hour by boat, you get to experience this beautiful place, you get dropped off at one end and picked up at the other end, thus, giving you time to walk and explore the nature of this island. Off season it is recommended to bring a picnic, as there is no restaurant open. Always sun block, windbreaker and water!

Berlengas Islands are a fascinating place, full of history and with the perfect conditions to be the shelter for a huge range of animals and plants. The Islands are located around 10 km (6milles) from the coast of Peniche, where all the ferries to Berlengas Islands depart from. The island is well preserved as a nature reserve. The fortress is also worth the effort and the boat ride to it is very good.
