Beachside restaurant specialized in fish. There are nicer beach restaurants but our kids love Thalassa for it's nice playground.

Zandvoort is a bustling beach-town close to Amsterdam, with many beach restaurants and cool bars a happening place on a sunny day in summer, but also great for a refreshing beach walk in the autumn or spring. Our favourite beach restaurant is Thalassa. Try the fresh Kibbeling, battered chunks of cod, a popular Dutch snack. In the autumn try a hot chocholate drink with cream after a long beach walk. It is a 40 min train ride from Amsterdam Central Station.
