While you can walk to Nokomis Public Beach, for a change of pace, hop in the car and head south after you cross the bridge to the North Jetty (at the southern tip of Casey Key!) to experience another beach with a great fishing pier and a pirate ship playground for the kids.

A must see! The old fish camp has been here forever....stop by to meet a local, look for dolphins, and find out how the fishing is. Across the parking lot is a newer snack bar with daily specials you can eat there or take down to the beach.

Another great beach walk, one mile down the beach. My favorite is their Cuban sandwich - big enough to split and a Goose Island IPA! One of my paddleboard/ kayaking destinations.
