It's 42 km away from us. Grotta del Vento is located in northern Tuscany, in Garfagnana, in the center of the Apuan Alps Park. The name derives from the violent current of air that runs through it, due to the presence of two entrances placed at different altitudes. The lower one (tourist entrance) is located at m. 627 above sea level, while the upper one, impracticable, is eight hundred meters higher, over 1400 meters high; the internal temperature is constantly maintained on the value of +10.7°C. The possibility of choosing between various tour itineraries makes it an ideal destination for excursions for individuals, couples, families etc.

The wind cave (in the local dialect "hole of the wind") is located in the mountain range of the Apuan Alps, under Mount Pania in Vergemoli in the municipality of Fabbriche di Vergemoli.

It's a real subterranean treasure in the park of the Apuan Alps. A marvellous system of caves which develops inside the Pania Secca, where touristy itineraries have been created.
