Palazzo Colonna is one of the oldest and largest private palaces of Rome. Its construction began in the fourteenth century by the Colonna family, who still resides there since eight centuries. The Colonna family dates back to the twelfth century and comes from the town of Colonna, near Rome, from which it takes its name.

Il più bel palazzo barocco di Roma! assolutamente da non perdere. Spettacolare La galleria principale, decorata da bellissimi affreschi ,e poi le sale con una ricca collezione di quadri. Molto bello anche il giardino e l'appartamento della Principessa Isabelle. Da non perdere! Raggiungibile con una passeggiata di 20 minuti, oppure 6 minuti in bicicletta.
