There is a roller- and rollerblading area in Golden Gate Park on the north side of the park at 6th Ave and JFK Drive on Saturdays and Sundays. There is almost always a colorful guy who brings a huge speaker for entertainment that locals and visitors alike flock to. Check it out and bring food, drinks and people-watch!

Enjoy watching , dancing or skating at this newly updated old school outdoor roller skating spot. On Friday nights and weekends, especially Sundays, you can find music and skate dancing at the happening hot spot. Join in the fun with your own skates or rent some locally. 6th Avenue between Fulton st and JFK ( closed to driving) .

This historic skate spot has been THE spot for over 30 years. The best times to go are Sunday mornings for Sunday Skate. You'll most likely find a skate legend MC'ing and friendly skating faces of all levels.

Head to Golden Gate Park on the weekend, or any day of the week, and bring your roller skates! The Skatin' Place at 6th Avenue and JFK is a super fun outside roller rink where you can practice your skating and watch the locals show off.
