Simangaliso Wetland Park in KwaZulu Natal is the largest protected wetland in Southern Africa and was South Africa's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. iSimangaliso's landscapes ranging from coral reefs with fantastic opportunities for snorkelling and diving, to freshwater lakes home to hippos and crocodiles.

World Heritage Site, scenic drive through reserve to most beautiful beach. Snorkeling at low tide at Cape Vidal beach. Only 32 km's away from St Lucia town. Chance to see leopard, buffalo, rhino, and general game.

Get there! Great outings, birding, game viewing and beaches... Our favourite place to go for the weekend is Cape Vidal or Sugarloaf Camp site... Driving through the eastern and western shores reserves and veritable feast of wildlife and birds... Not to be missed!
