Take a trip back in time to a place that probably hasn’t changed much since the Oregon Trail era. Established in the 1890s, this shop has a little (and by a little, I mean like one or two) of everything. Williams is a great little out-of-the-way mining and mill town with some very colorful characters. It’s also home of the Herb Pharm and Forest Farm native plant nursery. In the summer you can drive over the pass on Upper Powell Creek Road or Cave Camp Road to Selma or Cave Junction. But if you don’t have 4-wheel drive and a topo map, it might be best to get a drink and a snack and head down to Jacksonville or back to GP.
