The trip is worth it for the location alone with views across the lake to the mountains beyond. But factor in the historic abbey with its medieval cloisters and sense of spirituality this raises the bar to a whole new level. The site is not very large, but is worthy of exploration and if you chose you can buy honey or limoncello made at the Abbey itself.
