It's a cozy and welcoming space that serves Japanese soul food, virtually all of which incorporate trotters in some way.

A Japanese restaurant that is split into two parts (Grove St and Christopher St entrance). Reasonably priced but I would avoid the pigs feet and other unique foods if you aren't into exotic foods. There are other traditional Japanese items and it is relatively wallet friendly for the area while still being good. It is mostly small plates and four or five dishes for two people should be plenty of food. It will come in around $120 or so for two people.

Pork hot pot & grilled pig's feet share table space with sashimi at this cozy Japanese eatery.
